Rear Axle Nut Removal

I spent a whole morning laughing my ass off at the posts in the Rennlist Forum - axle shaft nut removal
Some guys went down the breaker bar and pipe to extend the bar for more leverage as below:

Tools got mash up

One of the post suggested jacking the 1.3 ton vehicle and letting the 2000 plus NM of torque do the work for you 🤣

Jack the wheel up off the ground.
Attach wrench/breaker bar at 9 or 3 o'clock.
Place jack-stand under breaker bar.
Slowly lower wheel to the ground.

The funniest one was below:

Easy! On right side, fit socket to nut , with bar end on ground towards the front (extended as necessary), roll car forward; if that doesnt do it, maybe CAREFULLY drive car forward. Reverse for left side. Worked easy as on mine.

One guy posted that they were all clowns 🤡

I bought a 3/4 impact gun from Machine Mart (now called the Big Daddy). It had the bolt off in a few seconds, and at less than £140, it is cheap compared to the battery-powered Impact Wrenches that can do around 800NM of torque, which are all about £300+
